WRO opens up to any robotics platform

For many years the RoboMission and RoboSports categories required the use of LEGO robotics components but, from the 2025 season, the range of options opens up (please note that at the time of writing this has yet to be published on the international site but updated general rules are available through STEMpura). There are still rules about the size, battery capacities etc which need to be adhered to and RoboSports limits the controllers to LEGO and Arduino but these changes allow teams to use whichever platform suits them for affordability or build and programming capabilities.
